CRS CRANESYTEMS is looking for a SHIPPER/RECIEVER for their Edmonton office.

Permanent Position, Full Time

Wage range (40 hours per week) depending on experience

Your Skills

You will be working for one of Canada’s leading Overhead Crane Companies, your role will be to lead all Shipping, Receiving and Inventory Control duties consisting of (but not limited to):

Maintenance & security of warehouse and all related equipment & supplies
Arranging transport of various goods ranging from small local courier to international FCL shipments

Packaging various goods for transport

Loading/unloading various goods by hand, forklift or Overhead Crane

Preparing all necessary shipping documents

Arranging & accepting delivery of various goods into CRS’ facility

Ensuring goods received are free from damage, shortages, etc.

Follows and enforces strict inventory control procedures required to maintain an accurate, organized and efficient controlled inventory system

Capture, document & enter all inventory transactions in CRS inventory system (Navision)

Maintain proper inventory levels via purchase orders or requisitions – prevents production slowdowns or sales losses by making sure there are adequate supplies on hand

Reviews stock records and recommends or initiates ordering of supplies to maintain adequate stock levels

Able to follow all processes and procedures under ISO and COR Safety standards

Maintaining a clean, safe & organized work area

This has been classified as a Safety Sensitive Position and the successful applicant will be required to pass a Drug and Alcohol screening prior to starting work

Experience: Previous training or experience is an advantage; however, training will be given to the right candidate.

Forklift and Overhead Crane tickets would be beneficial

Language: Speak & Write English fluently

Must have clean driving licence

Experience: 5 years or greater (Overhead crane experience is a must)

Major Work Conditions;
Industrial environment, Maintenance, repair and inspection of overhead traveling cranes & monorails throughout the lower Mainland and parts of BC. Ability to work at heights.

Your Skills

Specific Skills:

Install, examine, replace and repair electrical components. Test equipment and components for current, continuity and voltage. Maintain, repair and test motors, generators and control systems. Troubleshoot industrial control systems and devices, interpret electrical schematics and code specification. Ability to work at Heights. Will be required to take random drug & alcohol tests.

Training

Completion of High School, Industrial Electrician Trade Certification.

Language: Speak & Write English fluently

Must have clean driving licence

MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS CRANE SERVICE EXPERIENCE IS A MUST
