Job Information

Our rapidly expanding company is seeking highly motivated Service Technicians to service our growning customer base. As a service technician you will be responsible for the service and maintenance of OVERHEAD CRANES AND HOISTS. Successful applicants will be challenged to build and maintain customer relationships and promote CRS CraneSystems in the marketplace.

Some out of town travel is required for this position, however aproximately 80% of this positions client base is located around the specific branch areas.

Your Skills

• Ability to speak, read and write in English for clear communication with our customers
• Must be apprentice served and fully qualified electricians or millwrights
• Industrial electrical experience with 3 phase power
• Overhead crane service experience is a requirement
• Must have over 10,000 hours of overhead crane maintenance experience
• Candidate must be self motivated to be successful in this position

Title Projects Co-ordinator

This role is office based, controlling our crane projects and liaising with customers and production to ensure on-time delivery.

Your Skills

Must have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience, combined with a strong Electrical and Mechanical knowledge/qualifications within the overhead cranes industry and Project Management. The ability to discuss technical issues and have a strong understanding of our equipment is a must.

Training

Skill requirements; Completion of High School, Technical training in Mechanical or Electrical. Minimum 5yrs Experience servicing Overhead Cranes. Project Management Experience is essential.

The work is in an Industrial Environment year round. It involves the maintenance, inspection and repairs of overhead traveling cranes throughout Northern Alberta.

Your Skills

2nd/3rd Yr Industrial Electrician or Heavy Duty Mechanic with mechanical/electrical aptitude to train as an Overhead Crane Technician. You will gain experience in both a workshop and field environment working on overhead cranes, ultimately working as a field Technician.

Title Mechanical Technologist
Salary Salary: $25-30/hour (Based on Experience) 40hrs/wk Plus Benefits; Medical, Dental, Insurance, RRSP, Profit Share, Service Awards

Job Information

You will be involved in various aspects of the repair and modernization of cranes, you will be responsible for initial sourcing of component parts, preparing quotations based upon site reports or drawings and scheduling of the work. Your role will include pre-order discussions/sales to the customer, technical support to site crews and site inspection of work where required. You will need to be able to prioritize work as this role encompasses multiple projects and daily liaison with customers. Your knowledge of cranes, below the hook items and testing of cranes and components is a must for this role.

Your Skills

Education: Completion of High School, Technician or Technologist Diploma

Experience: : A minimum of 10,000 hours (five years) of overhead crane and hoists experience.
Knowledge and experience in the inspection of Cranes and associated lifting equipment

Training

Knowledge of the design and operational requirements of cranes to enable the transfer of designs/modernization concepts to drawings and final products.

AutoCAD Experience.

Must have clean driving licence
