CRS CraneSystems Inc. is Western Canada’s largest independent manufacturer and service provider for overhead cranes used in industrial applications. We have a considerable repeat customer base throughout North America including end users, Construction companies and Engineering Houses.

CRS are an ISO 9001-2015, and ISO 14001 (an Integrated Management System) – the only company in our business sector certified to this standard and one of a few in Canada. We are also a COR certified Company. Our manufacturing facility are CWB approved and is certified to CSA mark equipment.

Unlike many of our competitors we also export our equipment into the Americas and work with most of the top Engineering companies such as SNC Lavalin and Fluor and we have a high ratio of repeat customer both large and small.

CRS CraneSystems Inc requires an experienced, knowledgeable, motivated and career-minded ERP Project Manager. The ERP Project Manager shall act as the primary point-person responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of ERP projects on time, within budget, and according to specifications.


This is a temporary position for the length of the project (approx. 6-12 months).


To achieve these important goals, the ERP Project Manager must have:


  • Prior consulting experience in project management of ERP implementation lifecycle
  • Demonstrated success in project delivery and execution of project management methods.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Excel for management of project plan, costs and schedule
  • Skills, experience and ability to lead and mentor all project team members on ERP implementation
  • Ability to estimate project resource requirements and staffed to appropriate levels
  • Ability to communicate, track and document project issues and risk mitigation through resolution
  • Ability to prepare presentations and conduct status meetings for business units and/or Executive Management Group
  • Ability to independently manage multiple activities at different locations and organize work to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of common best practice financial, accounting, and business practices.
  • Strong knowledge of system testing best practices and methodologies.
  • Extensive practical knowledge using Microsoft Project or other project management tools.
  • Proven best practice project management skills.



Be able to:

  • define project requirements and scope, acquire project resources, and supervise the efforts of project team members.
  • Efficient delivery of project deliverables, effective quality control, clear communication of expectations to stakeholders, and
  • upward reporting to senior management are critical responsibilities of a ERP Project Manager.
  • Be a key point of contact with the Value Added Reseller (VAR) and to complete the project within the budget submitted by the VAR.
